say yes to the dress

Yesterday, Katie, Dano, and I, went dress shopping... And I took lots of pictures. I want to document this whole experience. Why? Because I love weddings! So very much. And I'm kind of living through her I guess you could say....

Here are a few of the dresses she tried on. (However, the one she's leaning towards in not pictured because I believe the dress should be a surprise for all to see on her magical day! Ah! I am seriously so, so happy for her! I cannot wait for you all to see it and it's not even my wedding!)

Also, please know that though the dresses you are about to see are immodest, the idea was that they would be built up to have sleeves and a higher neckline... just in case you were wondering...

Katie's best friend, Bree, works at Avenia Bridal, where we went to try on dresses.

This dress was my favorite. It had a bow! And pockets!

Ah so fairy tale like!

Katie looked like a princess in EVERY dress.

This one was just for fun. But wouldn't it be cute with cowboy boots? Ah swoon. I secretly love all things country. You can call me Taylor Swift... Oh and it'd be alright with me if I married a cowboy.

Pretty flower.

The small details are my favorite parts of wedding dresses.

Beautiful Dano and I looked through lots of magazines while we were waiting for Katie to put them on. It takes quite a long tine ya know...

RUFFLES. I love you. Forever.

Speaking of forever, Katie and Daren have set a date for October 20th. Timpanogas Temple. 10am. We, we so excited.

Her fiance's name is...

He's a cutie.

And so good to her.

They're wonderful together.

Congratulations my dear sister and new brother.

I love you both.

ps. I hope he knows that marrying into this family means he'll be on my blog. A lot. It's one of the perks!

baby's first bath

Yesterday I gave my puppy a bath.

He didn't like it very much.

But he was a trooper:)

it was father's day yesterday.

My Dad was thrown a curve ball. He was landed with three girls. No sons, no nothing. So he has been outnumbered for a very long time. However, may I say, how amazing he is for taking it all in his stride? Goodness, it's inspiring. Instead of groaning about it all, he embraces it! And is the best dad ever to his girls. So, happy Father's Day dad. I am so lucky to have such an amazing example in my life. Love you.

I'm feelin' like a mother/nanny/babysitter/big sister... type thing.

(and I'm not even doing most of the work! mama is. holy moly....)

My baby is sleeping.
It's kind of nice.
Because for the past couple days, I have been feeling like Brannigan is a baby. And in case you don't know, babies are extremely busy and a lot of work.
Don't get me wrong. I love, love, love this baby. It's just exhausting!
And so, I am relishing in his nap and my down time.
Ahh temporary bliss.
Haha just kidding.
Deep, deep down, I want Branni boy to wake up so I can play with him:)

Brannigan Agle

Brannigan Agle
DOB: 4/28/11
Type: Golden Labradore
Physical description: Gold fur, brown eyes, floppy ears, and puppy eyes. Oh, and chunky with cutie patootie rolls.

Okay. So. The story isn't long or anything, Iwas just extremely tired last night. But here it is, in a nutshell: My Mommy went to the store to buy sheet protectors. And she came back with a puppy named Brannigan. And that's it! My Mama bought him on a whim, you see, so it was a lovely surprise for us all:)

Here are a few things I have learned in the 26 hours I have known him:

  1. He gets the hiccups. A lot.

  2. He is teething so he likes to nibble on fingers and toes.

  3. He likes sleeping.

  4. He is a fan of food.

  5. He loves cuddling.

  6. He's not very good at playing catch.

  7. He likes taking naps with me.

  8. He is happy, happy, happy.

  9. He can fall asleep in a matter of seconds.

  10. and... he is the cutest thing since cheese.

So far, that is all.

Welcome to the family, Branigan.

We love you already.

I would like to introduce you to...

Brannigan!!! (Isn't he ADORABLE??)
Hopefully tomorrow, I will be able to tell you the story of how we acquired this handsome fellow, but for now, I must sleep.
So, goodnight world!
And goodnight Brannigan:)

"you need a yob"

Ladies and gents, boys and girls. I, Sasha Beth Agle Jr Nestman the third, have a job! (And have for about 2 weeks now.) I've debated whether or not to share this information with you, not because I don't want you to know but because what if I feel the need to share you a story from work but I can't because of company privacy?? Ya know what I'm sayin? So for now, I just want to tell you all that I do have job, and it is in retail. Is it easy? No way jose. It is a challenge every day. I have incredibly low moments and incredibly high moments. Yes, yes. Who ever knew retail could be such a roller coaster?

While talking to my buddie MP, we were exchanging our stories of struggles we've had at work and then she stated the obvious but I hadn't really thought of it this way. She said, "At least we have jobs." So yes, at least I have a job. And I am ever so grateful for that and for the lessons I will learn.
