You

Guess what day it is? That's right, it's Christmas Eve.

I don't want a lot for Christmas...

Today I have done practically nothing and haven't even stepped outside the house once. And why should I? It's absolutely freezing outside!!!

There is just one thing I need...

But, I have done a few things (hence the practically part of 'practically nothing') such as... prepared my lesson for Sunday, watched the movie 'Young Victoria', cried... a lot (because of the movie-- not for any other reason. I promise, I'm fine. It's just that 'Young Victoria' is so touching! I highly reccomend it), and slept... a lot. Even more than I cried.

I don't care about the presents, underneath the Christmas tree...

And now I am watching the delightful movie, 'The Holiday', awaiting Katie to finish wrapping her Christmas presents. Most families spend Christmas Eve all together doing holiday celebration type stuff. But not this family. We're normally all in seperate rooms furiously wrapping gifts.

I just want you for my own...

However, we do make it a point to all sit down together and watch 'Twas the Night' sometime on Christmas Eve. 'Twas the Night' is another delightful movie that's all about the Winter Holidays from little children's point of view. It's hillarious and heart warming all in one.

More than you could ever know...

But until then, I am still waiting, watching 'The Holiday', secretly checking noradsanta.org and counting the minutes until St. Nicholas is here.

Make my wish come true...

Happy Christmas my lovelies. I hope you have a very merry day tomorrow full of peace, love and joy.

All I want for Christmas... is you.

  1. Sasha, you do have the gift of writing in a most enjoyable manner. The movie, "Holiday" is one of my favorites. It is just fun and heart warming.

I hope you had a very merry day, with all the important gifts of peace, love and joy. You know Grandma and I love you as well,
