If you click on the picture and look really, really close, you will see what is at the top of my browser. Happy Birthday Harry. I love you. Not Daniel Radclife (though he is quite wonderful too) but the boy who lived. Like litterally. LOVE you. (It's kinda creepy actually.)



I know this post is a little late, becuase the movie came out quite some time ago, but I just saw it yesterday. And I can't stop thinking about it. It was the fasted 130 minutes of my life. Ahhh I can't believe it's over. Oh Harry, Hermione, Ron, etc... you are all the absolute best. And though I know you will never read this because um, you are all fictional characters, thank you.

beauty. lots of it.

There was lots of beauty this evening.
First, there was a sunset. So, naturally, I ran outside in my pj's and high bun to go capture it. Unfortunately, I forgot that cars would be driving by on the street. I got honked at multiple times. [Beacause of my beauty, obviously;)]

Then, Dano delighted me by letting me play and do her make up. Here's a close up of her eyes. Ain't she perty? I can't handle it. [Oh and look at those white choppers.] Hot dang girl, hot dang.

So...

I eat in my sleep.
It happens whenever I have food in my room at night.
I don't go to bed hungry though... that's the weird thing.
Anyway, it's annoying.
And it makes me feel gross for the rest of the day.
For example, last night I had a Milky Way.
I don't even like Milky Way.
What a waste of calories!

So... I kinda went to Lagoon again.

Remember that one time I went to Prom with Curbs? Well the day date was supposed to be Lagoon. (a themepark her in UT) but it was raining so we decided not to go. Well yesterday, we celebrated our prom day date by actually going! It was tres, tres fun.

This is me and Curbs. Here we are in line for log flume. (It was 91 degrees outside. And I was in black jeans. Yeah, we tried to go on as many water rides as possible.)

This is Curtis' cute face, and this is my cute face. Hmmm one of these faces is cuter than the other. And it's not mine... pity.

This is an ode to my Dad. Captain Honolulu!

Okay pause. We saw a SWEET show with acrobats. Lots and lots of acrobats. And they were so cool! Oh my heavens. It made me wish I was an acrobat. Goodness, I have so much respect for people who have worked and worked and worked to a point where they truly become like... not human.

Look, look! We rode a ride with this on it. Why are there two s's though? Because it's German.

Little kid faces. Lips. That's all I've got to say about that.

This is us. You can call us Calex, or Alurtis. But either way, it's us. At that point we had been wet and dried, wet and dried again, and extremely wind swept.

Angry faces. Insert grrr hair. We did that a lot yesterday.

And in this final shot, we are on a ride. (As you can possibly/probably tell from the shadows of my hair flyng on my face.)

So I think what I am trying to say is, THANKYOU CURBS! For prom in April, for prom in July, and for being you. You are the best. The very, very best.

aubs is miss america

Aubs is Miss America. Just kidding. But basically. She participated in Junior Miss/Utah's Distinguished Young Lady program. Go Aubs! Chris and I went last Saturday and enjoyed a beautifully put together show. She did so well and recieved SO many scholarships. Like seriously. That girl could go to college a billion times with no worries. And goodness me, I am so proud of her. So congratulations m'dear, and I'll say it one more time, GO AUBS!
