Hymnbooks (the way they smell).

It's that time again!

Ya know, the time when I take a bunch of selfies on my macbook and send them to the missionary boyfriend on the flash drive.
To check out last edition of this bad boy,
you may click HERE if you so desire.

But this time around it went a little like this:

And then I tell him how grateful I am for his fabulous missionary service and all that jazz.
Hey, don't forget to write him if you feel so inclined!
He may not have time to write back but I'm sure he'd love to hear from ya!

FHE @ MK

Ya know what's cool about my ward's FHE group? Afterward, we go to Magic Kingdom, where we watch a parade or two, meet some princesses, and ride some rides. Awesome, right? I think so.

Take It Home

The wonderful Jenn Blosil recorded a song on the 2011 EFY album and I have been listening to it SO much lately. Why? Well, first off, her voice is my dream voice and second, it's just a genuinely beautiful song with a wonderful message. I invite you to listen to it:

Take It Home lyrics

What would happen if we took off our masks
Peeled back the labels
Tore down the walls we have
What would change if we just saw each other as
Children of our father

Out there it's easy to get caught up in our lives
Here we all can feel the sparks of truth ignite
We can keep this feeling burning inside
If we carry it … together

We have felt the way our hope and faith begins to grow
We have felt this light and peace to guide us as we go
We know we can take it home

What kind of difference can start with you and me
as we remember to live what we believe
A mighty change begins with small and simple things
We can share with one another

We have felt the way our hope and faith begins to grow
We have felt this light and peace to guide us as we go
We know we can take it home

Every single one of us here has a part
Inside our father's plan and this is where we start

We have felt the way our hope and faith begins to grow
We have felt this light and peace to guide us as we go
We know we can take it home

Happy Sunday

A friend shared this with me this morning and I thought I'd pass it along:

"Each of us will have our own Friday's- those days when... the shards of our world lie littered about us in pieces. We all will experience those broken times when it seems we can never be put together again. But I testify to you... Sunday will come. In the darkness of our sorrow, Sunday will come. No matter our desperation, no matter our grief, in this life or the next, Sunday will come." Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin

Thank you Aubs.
And thank you Elder Wirthlin.
