Happy Sunday

A friend shared this with me this morning and I thought I'd pass it along:

"Each of us will have our own Friday's- those days when... the shards of our world lie littered about us in pieces. We all will experience those broken times when it seems we can never be put together again. But I testify to you... Sunday will come. In the darkness of our sorrow, Sunday will come. No matter our desperation, no matter our grief, in this life or the next, Sunday will come." Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin

Thank you Aubs.
And thank you Elder Wirthlin.

Let's Play Dress Up.

For those of you who don't know, it's finals week for most universities out there. As of now I have one down and four more to go. (All to be done by Tuesday. Eeek!) However, Mr. C is finished with all of his and came over last night. And when one has studying to do and one does not, what's a girl to do but not study? I simply had to take a break and have fun with my man.

It was perfect. He always knows how to destress me. Thank you, Mr. C!
And now, back to finals.

Elder C.

Elder Adorbs.

It would appear Mr. C is a regular on my blog--
which is why I feel it absolutely necessary I share this important piece of information.
Ya know all this talk about missions?
Tonight, Curbs joined the ranks.
He has been called to...
well, I suppose you should just watch the video and find out...

The shrieks are my favorite.
I have never seen him so happy!
After this video he was hugging everyone with his smile from ear to ear and squinty eyes that I absolutely love.

New York City is one lucky area!
(Don't worry, it's just my one and only dream to live there...
but it's not like I'm bitter or anything...:)
I'm sure gonna miss my man but more than that,
words cannot express how happy I am for him!
Yay! Yay! Yay!
Love you, Curbsters,
I'm so proud of you!!!

Now let's make the most of these 96 days, shall we?

Tonight We Egg Dyed.

I dyed eggs for the first time tonight.
Yes, Easter is over but that means yes, all supplies were on sale.
(And so was all the Easter candy, but don't worry, I resisted.)

DJ was super thrilled to get his picture taken.
We chose princess eggs because, well, why not?
The box came with friendship bracelets.
And that is why I love Disney.
I was able to wear the apron that Dare Bear's Mama made me.
Ca-ute! (And I didn't even get it dirty.)
Pretty colors.
While we waited for our eggs to dye, we skyped Mr. C.
The poor guy had a paper to write so he couldn't join us.
Finished product.
What a success! It was quite fun and I can finally check it off my bucket list.
However, I've got a question for the world:
Now that I've dyed the eggs, what do I do now?
Eat them?
Stare at them?
Other?
I suppose I will never know.

Snailing

Remember planking?
Then owling?
Now there's snailing.
During a study sesh for finals, Mr. C and I tried it.
Yeah, we're pretty good at it.

Mandalee

Today I woke up missing this girl.
It's so weird to go from seeing her every day to never seeing her at all!
Why must we get old, graduate from high school, and go to college?
Sometimes, like this morning, I wish I was a senior at Timpview again.
But alas, I am not.
I'm a freshman (nearly a sophomore) in college!
Get me.
So instead of wishing my morning away, I shall say hello to my beautiful Mandalee and wish her the best.
Hello Mandalee! I wish you the best!
Visit me soon?
Love, Al Pal.
